Welcome! My name is Madeleine Brown, and I’m a learning specialist and executive function coach. I have worked for ten years in the education and coaching space and have studied cognitive disabilities. I help kids, teens, and adults “level up” and make progress in their personal, professional, athletic, and academic lives. Most of my clients have a cognitive disability (like ADHD or autism or a learning disability), a mental health disorder, or are just overwhelmed in their season of life.
Through 1:1 coaching, individuals with executive function challenges can increase independence and success by learning about their strengths and growth opportunities and then developing skills and strategies that work for them. EF coaching isn’t one size fits all, and each individual receives coaching tailored to their needs, circumstances, and goals.
Executive function coaching helps people develop skills like task initiation and completion, goal-oriented behavior, impulse control, emotional control, flexible thinking, working memory, self-monitoring, planning, prioritizing, and organization.
Note: I am a learning specialist and a coach, not a licensed mental health professional. Coaching is different from cognitive behavioral therapy, although they do have some overlap and can work well in tandem.
